autofs5-hesiod software package provides Hesiod map support for autofs, version 5, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install autofs5-hesiod
autofs5-hesiod is installed in your system.
Make ensure the autofs5-hesiod package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep autofs5-hesiod *
You will get with autofs5-hesiod package name, version, architecture and description in a table
